Woo-Hoo! Got my Konis in!!
Like it says I got my Koni's in and so far Me Likes!
I keep hearing that they are supposed to be to harsh for street use, but so Far I really can't se that being true. I bought these used from one of the guys here on the forum for next to nothing. (Hell he pulled them off a car in a bone yard..) One of them was damaged prior to him pulling them. It seems that that protective boot hd been heated up and it was shrunk like electrica shrink wrap around the shok body. If I push n the adjustment button on that shock it spits out a bit of oil, and he shaft wont turn to adjust. Oh well. they do seem to have a LOT moredampnig than my old stock ones. With the stoc ones could compress the shaft buy just holding it i n both hands and puhing. with the Koni' I have to practically sit onthem to compress.
The adjustment is stuck n the second softest setting. dosent feel bad at all driving on the roads. I feel the bumps in the road a bit more, but it realy isnt bad.
f course when my wife sawthen she thought that I was crazy for putting the ORANGE shocks on my white car. Aint she cute??
Later I might pull off my tires nd take a pic of them. he batteries were dead in the Digicam last night.

I think Koni can even rebuild the suckers for you and it'll still be cheaper than getting them new...at least now we know Mazdatrix was wrong regarding street use of Koni's...
