wont start after overheated

so the other day I was driving home and noticed the temp gauge very high. It never reached to the very top but was close by the time i was home. It turned out to be a bad radiator hose, which I replaced. After that was done, I test started the car and it was fine. Then about an hour later, I went to start the car and almost killed the battery doing so. It took a few minutes then would start, but acted like it only had half power, and when giving it gas, and it sounded funny, kida tinny. Then after running for 20seconds something clicked and it would be fine, and drive totally normal. I figured the carb was just getting dirty or something. Then when it was warm it would still have a hard time starting, not as bad, but once again, after a few seconds of idling it would be fine. NOW it wont start at all, or will idle for a few seconds then stall. I tried seafoam and that wont even do it,
Any IDEAS??

Your coolant seals are probably gone. Did it smoke on hot starts? Exhaust smell like antifreeze?

1. See if you can still rotate the motor by hand.
2. Pull the spark plugs and see how they look. Specifically, you are looking for coolant on the plugs or in the "chambers".
3. While you have the plugs out, just for ***** and giggles, make sure you still have spark.

Post back with results. Unfortunately, overheating is the easiest way to kill a rotary. But hopefully yours is just feeling a big abused, and has not yet given up the ghost.
