Wish me luck!

I got the new ignition switch installed (and I fixed the old one), so we're going to try to fire up the blown 13B in my '85 GS tomorrow morning! My brother and IanS are going to help me out.

A while back I saw a web site that had a good, detailed procedure for starting a freshly rebuilt rotary engine, but I apparently didn't bookmark it and now I can't find it. Does anyone know where I can find such a site?

Thanks,
Rich

Man Yo. I bet your excited!!!!!!!

I didnt know that there was an detailed procedure about it. I just primed it, and ran 2-cycle mix plus the omp for the first 2 tanks.

Its ran strong for the 7000 miles Ive put on since the rebuild! So I must have done something right.

Yes, quite excited! But would be even more excited if I could actually drive it...we got about 6 inches of snow today, which came on top of about 3 inches we got Thursday

Whats snow?

Oh yea.....thats the cold white crap I drove 300 miles to find, and nearly break my neck in today!

Good luck with the motor.A little premix in the tank is a good measure in case the OMP lines have drained.Just be careful the blown motor doesnt get blown!;-)

Don't get into boost until it's broken in. It will be difficult for you.
