wiring harness removal....(searched)

ive sold my -SE's engine harness to friend of mine who lives in FL.... the thing i need to know is how to remove the wiring through the firewall without breaking anything ...ive searched the forum for: ecu, ecu removal, fb wiring harness, wiring harness removal and all but to no avail.... plus it wouldnt hurt to know where the ecu is sitting at since he might also want that.

p.s. pictures will be very helpful

I just unpluged all the plugs and pulled from the inside, it came out without any problems

Yep... same here. Just pop out the big *** gromet (I don't know why, but I love the word gromet) and everything feeds though easily.

Should be under a plate in the passenger foot well, you have to pull back the carpet to get to it.

not a problem as the interior(everything...dash, carpet, seats etc.) of my -SE parts car(grey) is going to be transferred to my other -SE(red/burgundy) as it just looks worn out and faded. plus it will match the "charcoal grey" or "Tornado Silver" paint... i appreciate the help guys!

It is odd the way it is in the foot well but it is there bolted to the floor.

it helps to have a buddy pull the harness through as you wrangle the plugs when getting it through the hole in the firewall.
