Ok im trying to put my car back together.I have looked through the hayes manuial and cant find what wire goes to that sylonide(sp) thing below my oil cooler on the side of the block not sure what its called so does any one know the color of the wire that goes there?

 

The car is an 85 gsl.

by solenoid looking thing i assume you mean oil sending unit. i just looke don my 85 -se and the wire for the sending unit was tan w/a yellow stripe
