yes, but that will make it run at full speed (kinda loud, fast)
just find the wire that isnt grounded and apply B+

there's two power connectors on the blower motor, both look similar. put some + power to each side and see what it does, one opens it up and another turns on the fan.

then just wire into the proper one with a switch... tricky part might be figuring out how to make it stay open. not sure how to go about that besides leaving in the stock heater ****, setting it to where you want it and shoving it behind the dash somewhere.

crap, i've been messing with this junk to no avail. i found these two wires. one is blue and orange the other is blue and green. if i put power to the blue and orange one my wideband and boost gauge come on????? they must be sharing the same ground i dunno. either one tho doens't power up the fan or anything.

any clues?

damnit i got it open and it's setup to vent air from the cowl or whatever cause i can slightly feel very nice hot air coming out of the defrost vents when i'm cruising on the highway. buuut, i can not for the life of me wire this blower fan up. i know it works but no matter what i put a power source to many different wires i see in the FSM wire diagrams and none do anything.

did you yank it out and try running power switched to it while it was out?

it may be some sort of variable voltage because of the switch so that could get confusing. maybe if you used the switches, set them to how you want it to work (hiding them behind dash), then switched the sources on that you could get what you are looking for.

haha another thing make sure you wire it up the right way! i had my wires backwards and the blower was sucking air instead of blowing it out!!! lol....

it would allmost feel like some air was coming out but not really... it was weird

putting em backwards is kinda hard since there is plugs on them to crunch together.

however, both plugs on the blower can be switched around and what happens is the motor screws up and just keeps opening/closing the vent. haha. i had mine removed and was watching it thinking "ok wtf did i just do..." kinda funny to watch. swapped the plugs and voila worked perfect!

WOOT ok so i got the ****** wired up right to my switch and it's such a beast. it's blowin air out of all vents tho and it's not as hot as i remember it being before.

i think it's recirculating because it got kinda muggy and my windows started fogging up when they were just fine and clear before i started the car LOL

how can i open the valve manually to allow it to be full hotness and change to pull outside air?
