Wipers inoperative since engine swap.

This is what i'm faced with, it is a 85 gs that was all factory. 2 months ago when the original engine craped out on me the windshield wipers worked good, no problems at all. Now that the new engine is in they dont work at all.

I'm using the RB intake with a holley 600cfm aand took out the harness all together. I know on the 2nd gen cars the power for the wiper motor comes through that harness... but the FB's wiper motor wires dont come through the firewall at all...

Where should I start to look?

At the work that you just did.

Look at the FSM for the wiring diagram.

I was thinking about pluging the harness back in to see what happens. I was to buisy tonight getting my oil cooler fixed and back in the car.

I have the whole weekend to tinker with it.

Yea, Doc's right...just get the factory wiring diagram out and start tracing the wires back from the wiper motor. Wiring really isn't rocket science.

If you open up the cowl where the wiper motor is ... you will notice that the wiring will go from the wiper motor to behind the dashboard. From there it goes to the switch
