Are the wiper linkage bushings the same as those on the headlight arms? They sure look the same...

 

yes. i have one headlight bushing in my wiper assembly at the moment

 

Okay - I know there's a dead thread on a workaround replacement for the headlight bushings(https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...light+bushings), but because the wipers are more of a continuous-duty kind of thing, has anybody found a durable replacement?
I guess one option is to go with the rubber grommets for headlights and use my remaining good headlight bushings for the wipers...

 

Can I use this mod on the wiper linkage since theyre the same bushings?
