wiper blades wont turn off after use.
hey guys
i have been looking in the FAQ for anything that might be of the same issue that i am having but with no luck.
ok here is the info: wiper motor was changed out 2 years ago. and wiper switch was changed out last week. the problem still remains with old switch or the new one. i also thought that my new parts where causing the issue but i switched them to another car and tested them and they both work fine on the other car.
so i think is something in the wiring or something else.
cause: with the wiper fuse in place and not blown and wiper switch in the off postion . the wipers are off .
when you go to use them in any speed they work fine. When it comes to when you need to turn them off is where it gets weird. i put it back in the off postion the wipers remain in speed 1 and continue to work.....
the only way i can turn them off is by, pulling the fuse or turning the car to full off postion....
in short there is no off switch in the wipers... yet moter and wiper switch work fine in another car i have. my guess i have a short to ground somewhere. any help on this would be great thanks .
i cant seem to get my pic to upload for some reason.. ill try again later.
