Wiper blade Scratches...Removal?

Just got home from a run to the store. Dark, rainy. Leaving the store, and I catch a glimpse of the rubber on the P side wiper just a flappin away!

I got out quick, like any real car lover would, and inspected the windshield.
Sure-as-****, there's a GODDAMN scratch!

I JUST put these blades on this winter!
I will certainly do the proper "rotary bretheran" thing, and give everyone a heads-up about them when I find the brand in the store again. I don't remeber what brand they are, but I will when I see the package again.
But they were'nt a cheep-o set, either.

Anyway, I have a very slight scrape in the winshield, and I want to nip that in the bud before it grows with dust being an abrasive.
It's very light right now. What does eveyone use to rub them out?

I am interested to know as well. The previous owner of my SE lived on a Dirt road and had some little rock dings on the hood and winsdshield.

I am going to repaint it later anyway. I thought about Glass polish, or having it professionally done. Any Ideas?

Sterling, drink less beer on those wiper installs. Cerium oxide is the one thing to use for scratches. Its hard to master the use. D-truck!

go to http://www.eastwoodcompany.com they specialize in those odd projects like glass buffing. Kits for doing such. Among other things.

I've seen glass repair stuff at walmart. Never tried it. probably should, got some dings in my windsheild too. I don't know how good the walmart stuff is but if I get around to trying some I'll let everyone know.
