Fuel Pulsation Damper

Does anyone know if the series 5(89-92) Fuel pulsation damper is compatable with the GSL-SE models? The reason I ask is that I have a bad one that the screw fell out of and sooner or later a fire will occur. But I've heard many GSL-SE's are out like this flirting with potential desaster and I don't want to buy one that is prone to failure like these.

I've heard that the later (89-92) dampers are designed better and will not break as easily or at all like the earlier ones and want to get one of those instead.

Thanks

I belive the S5 dampener is intergral with the rail. I think the rails will interchange. You could do like I did my TII, and drill and tap it for a fitting

Thats what I meant, take the whole fuel rail from a S5 and install it on a the GSL-SE. So that would likely work correct?
