Windshield Wiper Stays On

So recently I was driving and the windshield wiper would come on without turning the ****. Before I would switch it on then off for it to stop. I recently hit a bump and now the wipers wont turn off even if I turn the **** on then back to off. All I can do is change the speed of the wipers or pull the fuse altogether to make it stop. Is there a quick fix for this cause I drive late night and it can get really misty at times and I dont want to end up being wrapped up around a tree.

I heard from somewhere(I could be way incorrect). But that mazda designed the electrical where if the switch went bad what ever in controlls would constantly stay on even with the switch on off. (If the switch went bad that is)
