windshield wiper inoperative on driverside

as of wed when it snowed, my driver side windshield wiper wont work but the other one does.. my dad told me there is a way to adjust it but i cant figure it out.. help

sounds like the wiper transmission popped off of the wiper arm linkage. pull your valence off and you might have to put a new plastic bushing in there. good luck cause that one is a bugger.

pull the cover off of the nut at the base of the arm. once you do that, check to make sure the nut is tight. i would guess that the nut is too loose and the linkage is spinning inside of the arm or that the arm's grooves are worn down and are smooth. start there and post back.
