It will directly fit but the turn signal canceller will not work. The steering wheel will stick a little too far forward. I have a 2nd gen steering wheel on my 1st gen. You need to grind down the metal on the back of the steering wheel about half an inch or so. Maybe a little less. This lets the wheel sit farther back on the shaft and engages the turn signal cancellers. When the wheel sits this far back though, the steering wheel bolt doesn't hold the wheel on tightly. You run out of threads. To resolve this I installed a couple of washers under the nut and all works perfectly. If you are unclear about what to grind down, try to install a 2nd gen steering wheel. You'll see what I'm talking about instantly. The mods you need to do only take a few minutes if you have a die grinder. If not, you'll be there a while.
