I want to add a Racing Beat header and Power Pulse muffler to my 84' GSL-SE? Has any one in GA done this, and will it pass emmisions if I leave in the cat?

Where in GA do you live that has emissions? I live in Valdosta and no one here would even be able to spell emissions testing , let alone pass them.

I live in Lilburn, Gwinnet county just outside of Atlanta.

 

They have emissions in the ATL area? Guess Im not moving up there. I think it will pass if you get the cats and dont have a visual inspection. If not just keep your orig exhaust and swap it for the test like a lot of people here do.

Give it a try and see. If it does not pass you can change back and try again. You get two tries for the $25. Let us know how it goes.

 

The new emissions test in atlanta is hell for 1st gens. My 12A has some aftermarket exhaust stuff on it and it is failing. The cat is about a year old. SE's apparently the throttle body is the biggest issue.
