will only start if pushed.

So I got my new 1st gen and it wouldn't start with a battery but when we push started it she started just fine. I took out a plug after cranking it a few times and it was wet so I know the gas is there. It will run like a champ and idle no problem. Could it be the battery isn't cranking hard enough?? any ideas?

You can get your battery load tested and see if the voltage holds up, or bench test the starter.

Wet plugs are usually a sign of too much fuel, which can foul the plugs to the point that the engine will not crank start. Another common cause is low compression, so, check your fuel system and do a compression test. If the compression is within spec. send your injectors out for service.

Are you having issues with your starter cranking the engine over or are you having problems starting up the engine?
