WIll not reach operating temp

I have had my 81 gsl for 1 year now and it has never reached operating temperature. I always figured it was the thermostat (duh) but didnt want to replace it because my radiator hoses looked sketchy. well today I replaced my hoses and thermostat but.. still always cold. How long should it take to warm up? HELP

Are you sure your temperature sender unit and/or gauge is up to par? What do you consider cold? Let us know!

What is cold to you ??and what temp thermastat did you install??
One option to thermastats is moroso water restricters, they come
in 3 sizes and work very good, but last about a year,, p o s is right
check your sender, guage, even fuse.thats not to bad of a problem.
also check the air in your tires,,ha,ha, good luck,,

I doubt it is really that cold. If it was he would be able to touch his radiator and only feel it slightly warm. I think it is his temp sending unit. Thats if he has already replaced his thermo.
