No

Buy a nice borla muffler, find a exhaust shop that does mandrel bends and have them set you up with a nice solid 2.5" exhaust and get some racing beat headers.

=D

RB is the only muffler that can stand up to the exhaust temps of the rotary. of course this is just my opinion from countless others that will post here. and it's closest to the factory look and doesn't look like every other ricer imports out there.

ok so i rethought it and came up with a rb roadrace header 13b 6port to 2 inch piping to maybe a presilencer? to 2" piping ending with a rb universal 2.5" muffler on the end.

yeah... im not really worried about a loud exhaust. i dont want formula 1 loud but louds tight so i might switch to an apexi n1 universal
another question
A.) How loud would my exhaust be if i ran it from header to muffler no presilencers or anything?
B).with one presilencer?

i am running opiton A right now. just temperary. if the car is idleing and you are trying to have a convo within 20 feet of the front, about 60 to the rear, you have to yell to the person right next to you. i work on fighter jets, grew up around muscle cars...and i'd say its too loud. i'd guess about 105 or so DB. run at least a pre.

I had that, and I hacked it up to make it fit on my FB, it would bolt on, but it sure does sound sexy, ask AcidAngel we have the same setup.

RB header+RB power pulse pre silencer+ Apexi N1 GT spec pipe=sexyness

P.S. It's a LOUD *** set up :-D

Borlas work great and won't burn out. They do an excellent job on 2nd/3rd gen turbos in place of the cat.

Yes, one in place of the cat, another at the rear. Check eBay for the best prices.

I wouldn't use two mufflers it would make it too quiet, I think you should use the Racing Beat power pulse pre silencer, it's a lil expensive but it helps produce a nice sound; And if you use a borla instead of an N1 it's gonna be way quieter than mine, so you should be good.

Turbo packed mufflers are the way to go...Borla HKS Apexi universal mufflers is your best bang for the buck and will hold very well to the heat due to the fact those turbo packed mufflers are meant to hold 3x's the heat...

Sorry, I have to disagree. But then much of it depends on exhaust pipe diameter. I have a full 3" system on the widebody , 12A, 1/2 sp-1/2 bp with 2 Magnaflows and it's still too loud. The front Magnaflow is a 5" round muffler, an oval would be quieter, but a Borla would probably do even better. I have yet to hear a system with a single muffler that's quiet enough within reason.
