Now the way to get away from having water going down to your engine is by installing something that works like a drip rail .... have a rail go all the way at the bootom of your vents and on either both or just one side of it instal hoses that lead down to the front of the car .... i will try posting an image of what i mean later ... but i hope this helps
There are some conditions to be met though ... water would usually only be a problem when the car is at a stop light or driving really slow so that the water would be driven down to the engine compartment.
