will a 84-85 gsl-se lsd fit in a 83 gs
i want to put a 84-85 gls-se lsd in my car and i was wondering if it would bolt right up or should i just get this lsd conversion kit

If you are talking about just the pumpkin or 3rd member which is just the center section then no. The axle splines are different in the 84-85 models.
If you swap in the complete rear end that will work with some changes. You would need to use the e-brake cables off of the SE, of course the rear disc rotors and calipers off of the SE and use a Master Cylinder off of either a SE or GSL. Also the porportioning valve.Then you would have the issue of the different bolt pattern that the SE has and would need rims to go with it and would want to change out the front suspension to match.
The drive shaft off of the Gs will work, 83-85 models are supposed to have the larger flange at the diff. You would also need rear brake hoses off of a 81-85 rear disc rear end.
