I have an 85 that needs some front end body pieces. I have a 79 as well with decent body panels. I was wondering if they would be compatible. Thanks!

 

IIRC, yes, but you would have to do a whole front end conversion from the 79': fenders, bumper, valace, etc.

 

yeah, make that FB look like an SA from the front. the rear will still say FB tho.

 

You also must use the bumper structs from the 79.

Yes the header panel beteeen the lights and the lights are the same. I swaped an 85 bumper w/ the 85 bumper struts onto my 79 rx7 and kept the 79 valence but didnt have the grill any more . I also am using a Kamei spoiler for an SA and had to trim a little bit of the bottom of the front bumper.
