Will a 45mm offset fit?
Will a 45mm offset fit a 1st gen?
I know the second gens are a 40 offset but not sure on the 1st gens.
Want to go 15x7 with 205/50's or 215/50's but not sure what offset I need.
I know alot of you are running 15's but don't know the offset.
Thanks

Just so you guys remember, offset has to relate to wheel width. Stock GSL-SE is a 5.5" wheel with +40mm offset.
A 7" +45mm wheel will be 15mm closer to the strut and 10mm closer to the fenders. I would think that you might rub the springs/shocks/struts with this size wheel on a GSL-SE.

Depends on springs as well. On my '85 that has an -SE setup with ST spings I'm running 16x7 42mm offset 205-45-16 and no issues up front. On my '79 SA with a -SE setup with what I assume are stock spings the same wheels rub the spring, only a little but a dremal and two minutes would take care of it without to much metal taken off the spring.
