Unhappy wierd noise when I give it gas

Alright I tried searching didn't come up with anything

Alrigth, after about 1500 rpm and accelerating i get this really high pitched whiseling. Its kinda faint but its there. As I accelerate, the tone gets higher. Yet if I let out on the gas, it goes away. Also if I push in the clutch it goes away, even if I give it gas like im accelerating.

Any ideas? could it be the shutter valve?

Nope pilot bearing, or throw out bearing I place my odds on it being a throw out bearing....

Shutter valve will make a weird honking like noise when it returns to idle, or right before it gets to idle

Try changing the tranny's front input bearing as well. If the pilot goes and u drive it for a while, the input bearing will be gone too. I had to find it the hard way by pulling the tranny off twice.

It might be a loose belt. Also, if it goes away with the clutch being pressed, that would lean towards the pilot bearing. Pilot bearing can be a pain to remove if its really in there, so I'd make sure its the last thing to do.
