Widebody guys

Has anyone used the Japco Widebody?
http://www.piner.com/japco/prices.ht...RX-7%20(early)

Also, for any of the widebody people, what size tires are you guys running front and rear? Were any spacers needed etc.

Pics would be good too

I've heard that they are REAL thin, and good for the race track only. Not the street.

Didnt you order the Mariah Widebody? Along with someone else on the forum? I think it was Mike-p-28

Im not too worried about it being really thin, because worse comes to worse it could always be reinforced.

Are there any other widebodies out there, besides Japco, Mariah, ISC, and Cp racing?

I have a Mariah, but it is not installed. Mike did buy at the same time with me, and his IS installed.

The product and thickness is great.

I didnt put the rear fenders on yet, Im still debating whether I like it. Actually im probally gonna sell it. I cant be bothered with hitting the airdamn everytime I hit a bump and thats exactly what it does. Hell i cant even pull in my driveway staright w/o rubbing it. BTW The front end is basically a bolt on, took me like 30 minutes.

On the quality of the Mariah pieces, i guess its ok, but theres a shitload of more body work to do. Just to get the lines right that is. The fenders have gaps that I havent been able to adjust out (im extremely picky), and YES I have done more body work that one would want to admit, so I have an almost professional status there...

I use 15x8 and 15x10 on my widebody kit. 2" backspacing. you can get custom wheels made, or get some hub adapters made and run the cheap steel racing wheels. They come in any offset and up to 13" ide. Which is what I did.

That kit looks good. Remember that the wider you go, the harder it is to find wheels.

front 17x8 rear 17x12

If I had a chance to do it over, I would probably go with the mariah rear. But my car had the rear flares on when I bought it.

3piece wheels aint cheap
