I hate hondas...hahaha (just because I don't own one of damn crxs I was talking about)...Imagine the integra GSR engine in a CRX...now that's what I'm talking about...

Thankz.. I only post that because I figured that it will set the Thread off. :] I love the battle between hondaz and r0atries.. I will lay my money on a r0ttary any day..
And as for that vtec thing.. we had six ports back in 84.. that would have been equivalent to the vtec. agreed?
yay or nay?

What I think is cool about a rotoary is the power to displacement ratio. Of course it doesnt mean much but it suprises the heck out of people. An old Ford truck pulled up to me the other day and revved up his beast. I asked his what was under the hood and he said "460." He asked the same and I said "70". So he started laughing. But I was the one laughing after I was a car-length and a half ahead of him at the top of first gear. It was beautiful.

A Quest/Villager would be the only thing I'd want that engine in

it's all in the power to weight ratio...
my '84 buick park avenue has 140HP and 200TQ (that's net, at the wheels, at the motor it's more like 200HP and 300TQ), torque peak at 1600, HP peak at 3500.
ANY rx-7 will waste it, even if the rx-7 has 300,000MI, and 2 blown seals...
why?
it weighs 4500lb. DOUBLE what an FB weighs.
2.5x what an fb with good weight reduction weighs
that, and the crappy automatic transmission, the fact that it's cammed like a diesel (need the torque to move that bigass car tho), and even with all that weight, and RWD, it still can't get traction to save its life
