why is my engine doing this?

when i rev it or pull the choke and then let off it takes a few seconds for the rpms to come back down and they drop very slowly. I tried to take a vid of it but as soon as i pulled out the camera she stopped doing it. everything on the carb appears to be returning back as it should when i let off.

do like I did....pull the carb off and beat it with a really big hammer and laugh like a madman while doing it....

Nah...for real, go to www.sterlingmetalworks.com

I just looked at the pics really close and just about copied what they did...I have no vac. secondaries...just mechanical now..(starts to open up about half throttle), and no choke, but I have No problem starting it up even in 20 degree weather in the winter...you just have to read all about what they do to their carbs and try to make yours do the same while trying to keep "street-ablity".

I know I'll catch hell for what I just said..but thats fixing a car for yourself...It's for you and you only...not like your fixing it for a customer....
