White smoke? Water. What does it smell like? If it is waterit is either your intake O- rings, for carbed or your housing seal. If it is the housing seal do a search for Paul Yaw's fix. It worked with mine.

It probably started smoking at a young age. Patches and gum wont help, shoot it.

I am going to assume that U are carbed, therefore if it is water it does not mean re-build. If it is the intake o-rings then it isn't a hard job. As for the bubble gum......hey the **** works!

Take it out and run her up to the redline a few times, then see if she still smokes. After sitting for a long time, some of the seals can get stuck. A good hard running should loosen her up a bit. I'm assuming at this point that the problem is not water leakage, you said it was whitish in color, but smelled like a two cycle engine, so sounds like oil or over-rich.

Might be worth a shot...

Oil is bluish though. Sounds like when my friend blew a head gasket on his Accord?

Or you know... Just let the car run for a while...

My 7 had been sitting for probably a year and a half (judging when last smog ran up) and all it took was 5 minutes of running for the smoke to clear up.

Change the oil/fuel/air filter(s) and see if anything gets better.
