Ok, I just completed swapping my 12A into my GSL-SE and now that I have the rats nest removed and it's running alot better, I tried to shut it off by turning the key off and nothing happened. It just sat there purrring away! The dash lights and instruments all shut off but the motor kept running.

How do I fix this!?!?!?!?!?

 

sounds like you mixed up some wires... maybe the ignition isnt wired to the switch. that's weird

Maybe the 12a is possessed.

 

Sounds like there is a constant 12V to the coils somehow.

 

Yeah my dad thinks that the ignition is being fed off the alternator.

I disconnected the battery and it was still running.

It's strange.

 

The alternator and coil wiring is in the same harness. untape it and see if some wires are touching or something.

 

Maybe it's just confused, and being defiant.
