What do you mean? Purely on VIN's the JDM FB's would be RHD, 12A/12A 6-port/12AT depending on year and model.
But I guess he means the typical "Jap school" styled First Gens?
Either way, your comment is a bit strange???

Boy, you need some info!
First gen was series 1/2/3 (79-80/81-83/84-85)
Also called MkI, II, III.
SA22 Vin was used in 1979-80, and in Europe also 81-83.
I'm not sure about Japan 81-83, but FB was defenitly the last two years of JDM First gens. According to US-members of the forum ALL post 81 first gens had FB vins there, but I'm not sure about that.
So, THERE WERE FB's IN JAPAN!!!
If you don't know the elementary, don't discuss it.

People in Japan go by chassis codes, so every 1st gen in Japan is referred to as an SA22C, even the very last years with the turbo models. Go to Japan and ask someone there about "FB's" and they'll most likely not know what you're talking about.
Anyways, check out this site for the coolest NA drag 1st gen in Japan, as well as some pics from various meets: http://homepage3.nifty.com/22cworks/

Almost forgot, most of you have probably already seen the site I posted above, but I like this one even better:
http://rx-3.hp.infoseek.co.jp/
Click Enter and go to the EVENT section and check out all the pics. Lots of classic rotaries, especially RX-3's but they also have 4's and some 1st gen 7's. A lot of the event pics are just from general classic car meets, so there's pics of 510's, old Skylines (KPGC10 and 110), some old Fairlady's, Celicas, Corollas, Chaser/Cresta/Mark II's, Soarer's, etc.

Umm....I'm from originally from Japan and I've never heard of an FB until I came to the states. All 1st gens are referred to as SA22C. anyway try RE-Amemiya's site or Fujita Engineerings site. I'm pretty sure they have some pics of some nice SA's
