Now after saying this I did use one of mine to haul a bunch of clothes home when my ex girlfriend kicked me out. But it was just after my Jeep was jam packed with my **** as well.

Thanks guys.
The paint and body took 3 years,it wasnt easy.Partly because I'm semi-poor, and partly because most of it was one-off/unique.......there were many creative sessions with my 2 paint/body guys to be sure of what the final goals were, before anything happened.
And yes,I do plenty of hauling with my car, possibly more than most 1st gen owners.I just have to be sure to lift whatever high enough to clear the spoiler.I used to pack reefer dollies, carpet cleaners and knock-down engine hoists back there, but the rollbar and rear strut tower kinda hinder that these days. Now its just groceries and car parts/tools.
Remember, this is a daily driver, not a show queen. Before the final paint and body,I had a hitch and regularly towed/delivered rental equipment from work with the RX,many items well over 1000lbs.Only reason I ditched the hitch was to save weight and because it interfered with the rear skirt.

Steve84GS TII, do you mind telling me what kind of wheels those are? I have a base model 84 and haven't had much luck finding nice wheels and tires to replace the stock ones. I found some 5 spoke 16in motegi(sp?) wheels that I'm considering maybe buying in the spring. Does your gs have the same bolt pattern as the base model? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Yeaaaaaa.....and my 300HP means that statement is moot.
At whatever speed is needed for that wing to cause any significant drag,I would be seriously breaking the law,and would likely deserve what I get. That said,I dont drive that fast and in fact,I am a pretty laid back motorist.Whether or not my wing causes any undue drag,or significant downforce is besides the point because I dont regularly drive at speeds that would generate those forces.I'll be the first to admit that it was almost completely a cosmetic purchase, and was choosen mainly for its heritage and rarity. If the day comes that I regularly road-race/auto-X my car on a fast track, then it will have a functional purpose to serve, and it should do it well. That wing was after all banned by IMSA in the mid 80's for working too well.....
My wheels are Advan RG's made by Yokohama and special ordered from Japan because of my odd offsets and width, due to the widebody. Advan RG's are availible in white or gold only and in standard sizes like 17X7" in 114.3MM SE lug pattern, usually without any special orders or Japanese translators. They are not cheap at all,but they are very light. If you just like the style, there are many inexpensive knock-offs of the Advan RG,which is arguably the most popular street wheel in Japan. My brakes and suspension are SE spec, except for the front brakes which are 12" Selectmaz rotors with TII calipers.

Top lug is a security nut,you just cant see it.Since the Advans dont have any finishing covers on the hub,I kind like the plain, functional look of some zinc studs and open end lugs.
And thats an older pic of the rear wheel. The extended lug studs were in prep for my H&R spacers, which suck up most of the extra stud length, and push the rear wheels out as far as possible.

There is one thing for certain, they produce drag. Now IF they are set up properly and if you are driving fast enough and if the down force is balanced front to rear and if, etc., etc. then maybe you get some benefit at the ragged edge of the street driving envelope. So apart from the aethestics, which I'm not going to get into, they are drag generators unless you have some exceptional conditions and have gone to exceptional lengths to set it up. About the most you can usually get is a reduction in lift.
