I'll be doing it sometime next year. S5 intakes are currently in my SE. S5 block has been awaiting funds for a rebuild.

Do you plan on going FI or carbed?

Is it going into a 12a car or a gsl-se?

For the most part (90%),the FC N/A swap is the same amount and type of work and fabbing, as a TII swap. The only real difference is theres no turbo and the N/A trans takes less mods to fit up.
Youll have to fab up the left side harness, adress the shifter issue(if you run the FC box) and deal with the electronic OMP and front cover if your planning on keeping the S5 ECU.The OMP is the only real hurdle when doing a S5 engine into a 1st gen.
Do a search for any TII swap info,as most of it is pertinant to your planned project.Specifically, look for S5 stuff and my name,if your planning on running the S5 OMP and ECU.........

I did, in and out about 5 times...lol Freaking crap. Make sure your motor mounts are on the right way around.

Hope you got a FSM for the wiring fun. Done one.
Just take your time, read twice, cut once.

I'm in the process. Hope to try to fire it up next weekend. Really not that difficult, but then I'm using a Holley 650 double-pumper rather than fuel injection. Oh, that and a Camden blower :-) . I have some info on my site.

I have an s4 wiring harness that has been cut and modified for this swap. All it needs is the ignition trigger wire. It is FS BTW!
