Hmm, well the game consists of finding out what alternator this is from. I know it's a 2nd gen alternator, but don't know the year. I changed the pulley so that's not the stock pulley.


The little tag reads:
N350 18 300A
AST175 74
12V 80A 94 25

I'm droping the gm alternator and wondering if this is the one that I can just plug the stock wires into.

n350 is an 89-91 non turbo

Damn it. I didn't get a chance to play. It came off a 90 S5, white exterior with black interior. Rolled off the assembly line 7-89, on a Tuesday morning right before the first coffee break.
Now being installed on a Supercharged 1st gen that is only driven on weekends when there is a fast need for starbucks. How did i do? LOL

 

Yep, 89-92.

The second line should read "A2T" rather than "AST".
