who sells bodykits?

i'm looking into replacing my grille (if you can call it that) - it's getting pretty ratty.

can anyone suggest a place that sells bodykits? i'm looking for a nice front air-dam that looks a bit more agressive.

Done Pacific T front dam. Munched in an fender bender. Replaced with a Mariah front air dam. WAY better. Also has the vent holes for cooling your front brakes and/or mounting fog/driving lights.

Company is Design Energy in Santa Barbara. Last phone number I have is 805-965-5115, but its pretty old. They're still around as I saw them at 7Stock.

Only draw back to ANY front air dam is no matter how careful you are, you're eventually going to scrap it going up some driveways. I had them make mine an inch higher to help compensate. Still a pain, but much better. You should check out their Mariah Hood too. Provides ram air with minor air cleaner modification.

Nick at Rotary Reliability liked my Dam so much he got one for his.

Thumbs up

Hey, Bern....

You gotta live in Dreamland! How much did it cost yuh? No, not the fantastic mods, the electric fence, towers, searchlights, guard dogs, and armed rotating sentries...

You HAVE to send us some more pix. The hood and NASA scoop headlight, are they Mariah too? Would like a better shot of your rims....Please....Of course, I really love the paintjob and color. Interior shots? Engine bay shots?

You should charge admission just to drive down your street!

Whoa! Almost losin' the Stetson while rubber-neckin'
Denny, considering cuffing Bern, and "escorting" him to the 'ol corncrib where he'll be put to serious work....Heh, heh, heh...

Sweet car. I also have a Mariah Mode I wide body package. I also took it upon myself to add the side skirts and and the rear wrap-around valance and also the 'flying whale-tail'.
I like it. I need to build a cold air intake to cool off the 13B 6 street ported (polished) 275 hp monster.

enjoy...

i like this front spoiler - does it replace the stock grille and stuff? or does it just screw on over them. the reason i'm interested in a air dam is to replace the rattiness that is my grille.

That red one is definitely my favorite front end, really stylish and not overstated. That's the RB/Mazdatrix one right?

Someday when I have cash I'll pick that baby up, my grille and bottom of my airdam is the only part of my seven which is not in marvelous shape.

I must see more of that beast!.... please either post more pics or send some pics to my e-mail I would like to see it from different angles... like the rear... the side skirts... and I was also wondering... I like that red air dam above but would it work w/ the wide body kit? also... the rex I'm getting next week has the rear passanger fender scraped IN a bit.. (was rubed on a carport) would I need to still smooth that out or would the rear addon cover it up? How hard was it to install? I would like to see go w/ that but I'm weary about that look of the wide body... let me know exactaly how you feel... what kinda of wheels and tires are on that bad boy? I'll be pushing quite a bit more power w/ the TII in mine so wider tires would be great..... let me know! :p

It looks like those body kits replace the lower valience and either eliminate or replace the grille. Do any also replace the bumper cover? Mine's a little messed up. (Cracks, scratches and etc. Nothing a little plastic repair couldn't take care of.)

More pics

A few more pics of my 7. http://home.earthlink.net/~brhslm/new.htm

also some details... http://home.earthlink.net/~brhslm/.htm

The mariah piece replaces both the valence and bumper on the 1st gen. This bumper/airdam can also be used on 78-80 series 1 RX-7's.

Premdas, 275-HP seems a little high for a Street-Ported 13B six port N/A. Is your car turbocharged? Please give us some more details on your engine set-up. I'm really interested. Great looking car, by the way!

Thanks,
Bern
