its possible that the rebuild didnt go right and a coolant seal didnt line up.

if its white with a sweet smell to it, then its coolant

too much premix would be blue smoke

Well it doesnt smell sweet like a sweet antifreeze smell. the car has not been cranked in a couple weeks due to me installing the new ignition so i thought maybe the premix settled down. its not alot of smoke like a old beater car or anything, but i noticed a little condensation comeing out of the exhaust just like a little spitting and thought maybe it was just warming up or somthing, i did not let it runn long becuase i was pressed for time. if i marked the coolant overfill and let it runn a bit would you be able to see the level drop to be sure its a coolant issue. if its somthing wrong with the motor im going to be a little upset being how much work has gone in to it just to get it to run and being its a new motor. well any other test i can do to double check it or what do i do????????? thanks robert

Sounds like condensation, let the car completely warm up before worrying about it.

sweet ill back it out in the morning and let it compltetlywarm up and get the condensation out, ifigure if its a coolant problem then there is already a problem so i might as well let it run a bitto see what happens. thanks for the help, im still new at this rotary engine so i was just concerned thanks robert

How much run time do you have on the engine? Fresh rebuilds can smoke quite a bit. If it has very little run time, start it up and let it run for an hour or 2, keeping an eye on the temp and varying the rpms.

If the smoking doesn't subside, let it cool down and check the coolant level, then start it up, with the radiator cap off and look for bubbles. If the coolant is disappearing, start looking for leaks. If you have bubbles, call your engine builder.
