Somebody loved their car just a lil too much? (I did NOT just say that...)

I think I've heard this is symptomatic of PCV problems - - cracnkcase not getting ventilated. It's sure-enough disgusting looking.

Ahhh.....The lovely "lung butter". You definantly have a PCV issue. Search the archives for "lung mustard" or "lung butter".

Run a rubber hose from the nipple on the oil filler tube to one of the nipples at the base of the carb... Most say you need a pcv valve inline to do this, but I'm a rebel. I have never used one, and haven't had any issues. So, choose your poison....

I didn't want to deal with a PCV system since I've got a Weber that will soon have boost blowing through it, so instead I just used a oil filler tube cap with a hole drilled in it that Jeff20B had laying around. It worked; the lung butter is gone.

The quick fix is to drill a 1/4" hole in your oil cap. Even a breather has restriction. The hole has zero. That's why it works.

Your purge valve might be having issues. Only '80 and older had a real PCV valve.
