Lightbulb white gauges on a 81-83?

Here's a interior picture I found on the web of an 81-83 Rx-7. I don't remember what site it was...

Does anyone know where I could find a set of these kick butt gauges at?

Yeah, I see them on Ebay for 84-85 7's all the time. Just not for the 81-83 7's. Maybe I just need to look harder?

the ones on ebay are usually indiglo or reverse indiglo... the ones in the pic are not indiglo, they are a white vinyl that lets the back light come through like the normal gauges. The guy that owns that car makes and sells them. But I can't for the life of me remember the url for his website

Hard to tell from the pics, but does it have a center arm rest or just the coin tray? If no arm rest then its a S for sure, as stated earlier the steering wheel denotes an S, the lack of an armrest would confirm it.

y dont u just take u'r 1's out, scan them, change them 2 white, and print of on some good guality paper, U could even insert a graphic. My Bro has a blacklight hidden above his, and they glow blue when it's on. Just an idea.

I don't know if Jose has updated the guage faces in favor of more indigo type. that is still white faced.
they are not back-lit, so they aren't to bright at night.
i bought a set the minute jose started to sell the over-lays. the only place to buy white face 140 mph 80-83
1st gen guage faces at a reasonable price, i might add.
i love'em, and have had them for a couple of years now.
Jose, here's some feedback for you... mine have faded,
the reds, yellow, green. the black is still going.. how about a discount on the latest, for return customers ??

I'm with 81Rex6port13b!!

Why make an old car look modern. Too me it loses some appeal when you do that.

It could get out of hand,,i guess. it's important when installing the over-lays to keep your hands very clean.
