Where is my oil cooler

Last week I purchased a 1985 Targa 7 and I have been busy as a new member exploring this site. When I bought the car I drove it 2 hours to get it home. It did not overheat and it ran very smoothly. The odometer and speedo do not work. So I never knew how fast I was going. The odometer died at 176000 and the owner says it has a touch under 200000 kms on it.The car looks great and the previous owner had a recent tune up. It has an oil leak (slight) around the oil pan. I looked to find the oil cooler and it is nowhere to be found. I am a novice with mechanics so am I crazy. Isn't the oil cooler in front of the rad? Help? What next if this was removed????

well, the oil cooler is in one of two places... either in front of the radiator or under the oil filter in what looks like a beehive...

What model is it? If it is a gsl-se, it should be in front of the radiator. Otherwise it should be a behive shaped cooler in the engine bay unless it was swapped out. I hope that helps.
