Where to mount my in-line fuel pump?

I just recentely purchased an MSD in line fuel pump for my GSL-SE... and i was wondering where to mount it... this is prolly a really dumb question, but i need to know if there is a special place like it says "Needs to be installed below the gas tank for optimum gravity pumping" or something like that... better yet... are there any pics of someone who has done the electric fuel pump install? Thanks in advance.

i would say put it in the same spot that the inline pump is in on a 12a model. hit up a search, i have seen a few tutorials of pump installs with pics.

It depends on how it can be installed. For instance, if it must to be installed in a vertical position (like my Mallory Comp70) then the frame where it goes up in wheel well is a good place. If the pump can be installed horizontally then I would say that in the general location of the stock pump is a good spot.

I mounted mine super-ghetto. I put a big band-clamp around the pump and the stock mounting bracket. It's a strong mount, but it looks like trash.

Lol i think i ended up doing the exact same thing you did Coldy... its really sloppy right now but i need some parts like a 1/2 inch fuel fitting and a longer fuel hose so right now it looks like crap and performs like it too.
