where to get wheel studs

Are there any preferred wheel studs should I use on a '85 GS's 4x110 hubs?

I'm seeing two lengths of screw-in studs at Mazdatrix - the 2.25" goes in front and the 2.375" goes in the rear?

Can I get these from a Mazda dealer?

When some goon stole half of my wheel studs a number of years ago, I just went to autozone. They had them in stock that day. Worked just fine

Edit: I might have misunderstood you're application. Are you wanting to replace your bolts with permanent studs? Or just get some new OE lug bolts?

When I bought the shell to tow it home, the PO hadn't torqued the screw-in wheel studs down and 3 of them fell off one of the rear wheels thankfully before I reached the highway, but unfortunately resulting in a bent stud. I got it home on 3 studs per wheel because I am stupid and started towing after all the parts stores closed.

I need to replace the 2 that fell out, and the one that got bent.

Am I reading your post right - factory wheel fasteners are bolts?

As far as I know only the 114.4mm hubs didn't use lug bolts

I went to Autozone and asked for wheel studs. They came up with lug bolts, and not enough to replace all my studs.

I went to the Mazda dealer and asked for lug bolts. The parts guy corrected me and told me they're studs that thread into the hub and then a nut holds the wheel on. They're also NLA.

In both cases I specified the 1.1/4x110/GS-trim.

Argh!

These studs are common size. I get then from my local non-flag tire shop

Better source - Track-Studs brand racing wheel studs and lug nuts

They have longer studs as well studs that are hardened for racing. I used their 90mm Pro Studs on my car. You need 12mm x 1.5

They also sell cool 17mm hex lug nuts that will work with your wheels

OEM Wheel Bolts, Mazda Part # 1029-33-165:

1984 Mazda Parts - Discount factory (OEM) Mazda parts and accessories at Park Mazda OEM Parts

Absurdly expensive

A less expensive probably suitable substitute:

Chrome 12Mm X 1.5 Thread Length 23Mm Wheel Lug Bolt With 60 Degree Taper Uses 19Mm Socket Wrench

Ah crap, the wheels I have don't take the conical type. The wheel is also thicker than stock. I think I just need to bring a stud and a nut to a tire shop.
