Where to get '85 Carb rebuild kit?

Sadly Mazdatrix doesn't offer the carb rebuild kits for an '85 12A.
And I read somewhere on the forum that the Black dragon kits may not be using the best parts. The O'Reilly site says that I have to go into a physical store to order one. I have a store near me, but is the kit that they offer any good?

Any suggestions of where to go?

I've been following the other thread on the carb rebuild. Looks like I'll be taking my chances too....

Advance Auto still sells the 1980 kit. Check this thread: https://www.rx7club.com/1st-generation-specific-1979-1985-18/nikki-rebuild-kits-948011/

I just rebuilt my second carb with the GP Sorensen kit. The parts are good, but the kit doesn't come with the check ***** or weights so be very careful not to lose them.

I just got a GP kit from Autozone last week also. It had to be special ordered but it is only $28 and many people on here have said it was actually better than some of the more expensive ones. If you look up online or go to the store the part number for this kit is 96-555.

I purchased my carb rebuild kit from Autozone for my 85' 12a. It worked fine. All the parts were there and the right size.

O'Reilly also sells them. I'm kind of biased though, as it is my place of employment.

Damn then those bastards lied to me! I spent a half hour at O'Reilly for them to tell me they can't get a rebuild kit for this car. I was told not even their main warehouse carried them anymore so basically told me I was **** out of luck.

I got the kit for an 81 from O'Reilly, but it was a Walker equivalent as I mentioned in the other thread. It didn't have the *****, or enough aluminum sealing washers.
The price for the GP Sorenson from Advance was $47. before tax.

Yeah, the thing with Advance is that you have to use coupon codes to bring the prices down to reality. The GP kit did have a lot of aluminum washers, at least. It also had some extra gaskets for a slightly different carb style. I cut part of one up and used it to expand my accel pump.
