Where exactly is the EGI on the GSL-SE?

Where exactly is the EGI on the GSL-SE?

I see a fuse box just above my left knee under the dash with many fuses with numbers on them; 10, 15, 20, 30 etc. but nothing lableled EGI so I can disconnect and attempt to unflood my engine. I looked all over under the dash and came up emty. I take it that this will prevent the injectors from putting in gas but the plugs will still fire?
Help please! It is a fuel injected 85 GSL-SE.

There ain't one (under the dash anyway).

There is a fusible link (in the engine bay) that will do it, but it is best to just pull the blue spade connector on the trailing coil.

I also see some 2nd gen guys sent you down the wrong road in the new member tech section. The 2nd gens have a labeled fuse in the engine bay for this, but the GSL-SE doesn't.

somebody else said pull the blue cap to the Trailing coil. I need exact words since I'm not an expert. I see a blue cap and it is connected to the coil by a thin wire but it is bolted on by a small nut. The bigger wire leading back to the distributor cap has a 'T' on it so that is the trailing wire. Yes I'm 1st gen since it's an 85. I should have said the year, I did later. If I unbolt this thin wire then try to start, right? It should start since plugs are still firing but no gas going in since injectors shoot the gas in. By the way, looks like I should always keep the plugs in? Since if i tried to start I could start a fire with loose plug wires? There is no EGI fuse? I could not find it

You need to pull the plugs in addition to pulling the blue spade. The spade stops the fuel flow the plugs need to come out to evacuate the housings of the flooded fuel. Then crank it repeatedly until the fuel mist/vapor stops coming out of the plug holes.
Make sure your plugs are dry and your battery fully charged - then replug the spade back in and install the plugs and give it a try. repeat as reqd.

well, I pulled the blue spade connector at least I thought I did. When you say connector just the one line with the blue cap, right. I hope you don't mean both skinny wires connected to the coil. I tried three times to start and no luck. This method is also on the Internet somebody told me and I found it. The battery is a weak and I had to jump it. Still seems a little weak. This site says to try about 5 times and then go the more complex way if it doesn't work. I can change plugs with no problem but it says to put ATM oil in the lower plug holes and also to crank first with the plugs out. I hope this won't start a fire with the plug wires loose. I might get a new battery.

Since you said pull the blue spade connector that means one wire, not both wires. Just checking. I pulled it and it doesn't start, tried three times. I had to jump battery but still a little weak. Smokey directed me to the Internet link and it had a complex way to do it if this doesn't work. But I'm OK working with spark plugs. Just a little nervous about having the plug wires out loose if I have to go this route.

I went to the link and it states what gsl-se addict said so it looks like I'm on the right track.
But in addition I might have to try the "complex way". I tried three times so far and no luck.
