Where does this Vacuum fitting connect to?

I've been staring at this fitting since I got the car and have tried hooking it up to various vacuum sources. Originally it faced forward but I turned it around when I tried hooking it to a fitting with a hose that just barely wouldn't reach when it faced forward.

I feel like it's supposed to be connected to manifold vacuum so it can close off the regular air intake when under boost but I can't find any damned documentation on this kit (installed 2 owners ago). And I only have 1 manifold vacuum fitting that's currently run to my vacuum advance so I'd have to drill and tap a new hole if that is where it's supposed to go.

As always...
Thanks

No, my vac/boost gauge was hooked to manifold vacuum. Originally I had the vac advance hooked to ported vacuum on the carburetor but it runs much better at higher rpm's on the manifold.

I feel like the gauge wouldn't register anything up on that vac fitting because the turbo is connected to the carburetor under it.

There's so little documentation on this kit it hurts a little. I've found a few people from early 2000's with the kit but nobody really has clear pictures of the whole kit hooked up.
