I moved my battery to the rear storage bin and mounted it on the battery tray.

inside the car on the firewall just use the holes that your a/c lines use to go thru.

I bought a car last year that had them where the windshild wiper assembley is/was in my case. I'm not sure what you call that area. The holes were pluged as to not let rain in.

Either relocate your battery to the bins, and put the box(es) there in the battery's origional spot, or mount them like this guy did on his IT7 car.

I thought about that but I didn't think the hood even close with 'em there... That car is pure awesomeness. Look at the custom camber caster plate. Huge amounts of caster!!! Also looks like the beginings of an SDJ header.

That car was the nicest first gen there, very fast. He seemed to be keeping up with the ITS second gens. He might have had a SDJ header, but I never got to ask the owner, every time I went to look at the car, he was off some where.

Here's some more pics, it was nice to see what my rear inner fender wells are supposed to look like.

The exhaust system was amazing, long primaries, with a nice un-corked Supertrapp at the end. I plan to do a similar exhaust, with a Borla ProXS muffler just before the axle as a collector, and a 2.5" over axle pipe into a dumpy tip muffler.

Notice how the exhaust systems are suspended by chains. My dad would tell me about how when he was doing 24 hour endurance races, the entire exhaust system would glow on the 7s at night, even the entire muffler at the end of the system would be orange. He raced on a team with a 240Z occasionally, and sometimes in the Hanover Honda Sports CRX, and owned a few cars, the last one being a Spec Racer Ford. I'm trying to get him back into it and get another Spec Racer, even though he said he wants to sell the Porsche before he buys another race car, it'd be totally worth it.

hotness you need to start a thread in the non-technical section with all the pix frim the event. I mounted my MSD in my new FB. I tried where it is in the car above but the hood would not shut. ohwell... I mounted it where the horn relay is. I just cut off the little flap and moved the relays to the firewall.
