^^^not to mention that if its not in the stock location, it would be a pain in the neck to operate smoothly..and the center section may look awful strange without a radio.. pull the radio and look at the absurdly large canyon left when removing the oem head unit combo

cause i can. kinda like a V8 swap... yeah... dosent make much sense but it isnt what everyone else is doing
I think I have seen some good set-ups on here with a radio on the bottom, and then the top half they custom cut aluminum for a 3 gauge pod that went pretty well with the ***** and clock above. that is what I want too, but I want it to look good.
if you would have read the first post lol.

i mean look at it this way. it would suck really hard if everyone had the same color car as you right ? but i will agree that a matching style radio looks pretty nice too.

Under carpet below pedals
Inside gas tank
Underside of sunroof
Rear passenger side wheel well
Inside another vehicle
Some ideas may take a bit more fabrication than others.
Well if you just want to screw practicality in the name of being different then here's a few locations I doubt have been done:
Engine bay on firewall
Under carpet below pedals

Underside of sunroof
Rear passenger side wheel well
Inside another vehicle

but very doable. i wonder if anyone has tried it here.
that would be cool, then you could put some sort of usb jack for an I phone or a memory stick. remote on the steering wheel to control it or have a few buttons on it just for a basic set up. something like that you might be able to fab up pretty easy. wiring would be a pain cause you would have to run down past the A pillar or something like that.
