Don't the amber inserts come out of the UK 1/2 and 1/2 ones?

I thought they could simply be removed to make them all clear...

 

It's not really "clear" I want in the rear as much as "translucent white"

So far the only place I've found for these is to do it yourself as per the thread I posted above (which also has some info on IoTus' cardomain site).

They're made by cutting and heating/bending the kind of plastic you'd find covering the neon lights in office buildings.

Notice the little clippies holding the lighting plastic to the inside of the light assemblies

It's hard to get custom taillights for the first gen i contacted by phone & email different companies to see if someone would fabricate Altezza style lights for me & my 1st gen club but noone seems to be interested as for the clear corners i hadn't got back to Dan & my apologies we have been trying to have a few Rotary meets here in the NYC area so we really havent had the time to get into getting the money together to order the lights and now im trying ti find indiglo guages for my 83 altouh i found a tread here im waiting for a responce .they make them for the 84-85 fb's but not 83 although on the tread i heard someone has a fabricator for them now im just trying to get tailights so i can finally order all my stuff and dress up my baby for the spring

 

Altezza's? God if I see another FB with Altezza's......................................... .............. Altezza's went out of style (were they ever in?) about 4 years ago..... Also WAKE UP your car was built in the 80's...

 

not really the altezza style ive seen these led type lights that look really nice & brite but they seem to forget about the older cars mostly the RX's was gonna do the removal of the tail lenses and do the set up the guys posted here & get some LED's so that there bright red and have no prob with NYPD. As for an FB with Altezza's never seen it here in NYC atleast not a perfect fit type of deal I dont want to destroy any of the sheet metal to make lights fir in. Im not down with destroying any metal just like to hook it up for these lil custom shows. Tired of the Honda steeling the show. we refer to them as Honda slow cars jst they make alot of custom **** for those cows

Got any friends in Europe or Japan? They ain't cheap! You buy the expensive parts and then carefully break out the amber plastic part...

Awesome. Just get 'em out whenever you can. I can't find a local source for the coloured bulbs... if I paypal'd a bit extra, could you get coloured bulbs and package them in with the lenses for me?

no inserts for the rears yet. that is probley about 1 year away, as I have just scored on the some pre RX7 lenese and I all ready have thoes getting in the works, to remake...

as for the colored bulbs yes i can get thoes with out a problem,but let me get the lenese in first before I start taking any more money...
