the front spoiler, and the rear "wrap around" and the wing are all common, and you can get them at www.mazdatrix.com, or victoria british. a couple other places have those parts. those side skirts are not too common, someone else might be able to help you with them. i personally don't like em. i like mine!!!

just got my car today btw, and i'll be taking pics tomorrow most likely!!!

I just got my Side Skirts and Rear Wrap back from the Painter yesterday.
Installed the Skirts last night. Looks Great!

Gonna do the Rear Wrap tommorrow. 1 question though?
There are Holes punched out for the License Lights already from the factory (But How Do I Re-install The License Plate).
Do I need to do some cutting to make it work?
If so I wish I new that before I had it Painted.

Mariah instructions makes no reference to it!!!

Any help by Sat morning would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

That 'whale-tail' was originally marketed by Pacific Avatar, but they sold their molds to Mazdatrix and maybe even some other suppliers. Essentially, it is called the 'long' version of the whale-tail, since there was another without the forward-facing strakes that align with the rear quarter windows. I like the long look, and I think it provides some aerodynamic effect as well, since a stand-alone 'wing' (like a top-fuel dragster) has high drag. The whale-tails are designed to smooth airflow off the back of the car and help with upper/lower separation of the air to decrease lift at the rear.

I can say that since adding the spoilers to my car, I notice a lot less lift at highspeed which used to cause the front-end to get light in the steering. This was at extreme speeds, however, and I don't tend to drive that fast, anyway. Most of this is likely due to the FAD keeping air from getting under the car, however.

I've always liked the whale-tails, and also strongly recommend a FAD if you're going to be driving it fast (highway speeds). I took a hit of about 1-1.5mpg in adding wings, spoilers, and the rear hatch. That may be a consideration if you're driving long distances at high speeds where MPG may matter more to you than appearance. HTH,

Dude, you jacked his thread and now you're chiding us for not helping YOU?!?

Your lower skirt should be test-fit to see what you'll have to do to mount it. I would think that the skirt itself should 'overlay' the license plate area, if there are cutouts for the lights up there. The license plate would then mount to the skirt with the bolts going through to the plate frame on the stock bumper.

Have any pictures of the skirt so we can help you any better?

good cal lon the jack.

the info though?? the company out of cal that made the convertable 1st gen rx7 was pacific avatar. the fiberglass co however was pacific t-top then changed names to pacific auto accessories to better fit the company. PAA supplied the parts to mazdatrix as well as many other distributors or retail shops most of the molds were also co-owned by their sister co impact parts on the east side of the us. to answer the thread. the front, rear and tail are the pacific design parts. you can find them at a number of places, airdam I would try isc racing. the side skirts are differant than I have seen.

longduck you might gain most of that milage back by swaping the hatch for the glass. I get better milage now than I did when my car was stock.
