Cool When not to drive your 1's Gen....

Got 6 inches last night and more on the way tonight......I could make it to the road if I had running start....I think.
Untill then I'm gonna roll the Landcruiser for awhile..

Winter in Seattle, Wash.

I have always been surprised at how good my 7 is in the snow. The last time I drove in 6 inches, I got stuck.

Stock height + stock skinny tires + intelligent driving = not a bad day in the snow for me I can understand not driving in 6 inches wtih a lowered '7 though

I drove an '81 Rx-7 all through high school and college in Colorado. I never hesitated to drive it on a skiing trip or other times when the snow got bad.

My 7 gets parked as soon as the first snowfall hits, and doesn't come back out until at least late march, if the snow has been gone for good for at least a week. Might be different this year, I'll be itching to tune the new Sterling.

The thing about Seattle snow is that first, we have plenty of hills, and second, when we get snow it tends to stay just above freezing and the snow becomes super icy. Put these together and you'll see why I simply don't drive when it snows here. Even if I can handle it, I'm not comfortable trusting that everyone else can. If I must go out, I take the bus.

I drove one of my first gens in the snow a few years ago and it made for a pretty interesting winter; however, I never realy had a problem. That car is also lowered about 2", and it has summer tires on it. If any of you guys know what a Barrie winter looks like, you will know what I had to go through.

The stealth is all wheel drive, and the porsche well............Whatever dude!!! Driving sports cars in the snow is fun; besides, I would rather drive a sports car than some gas sipping Honda Civic! Ohh, I think I may have started something here.

the hills are what **** people up in the snow around here. I only had two inches this morning, still took the seven out for some action. Traction was very bad, compared to the last snow two weeks ago. fb does alright in the ice but poweder and compact snow are not so nice.

Only 6"?

Man, back in December we got 16" in 24hrs.. then it did it again a week later!

We had snowbanks so high the snowblower couldn't blow snow that high and we had to get on top of them with shovels to level them off so we could fit more snow.

It's been rather uneventful since then though.
