I don't believe those are LED's but actual incadecent light bulbs...

The light comes on also when brake fluid level is low. Check this.

The level is checked with a floating magnet and a switch that fits into the fluid container. When turning hard, the float may move down or up turning on the light.

The E brake has FULID and has a sensor??????

I thought it was a switch?

Look for a switch or some sending unit thing where the brake lines are at..

I yeah, the brake pedal is not involved with the e brake, therefore the fluid from the brake pedal couldn't cause the e-brake light to come on.

the BRAKE light in the dash goes on when the e-brake is on and it also goes on when brake fluid is low. there's a sensor in the brake master fluid resovior.

it's a multi function light gentlemen.

Drivefast is right. the same light works for both....

I have that problem when I am running hard I.E. auto-x or track days, and when I am in a long sweeping corner my brake fluid light ir my oil will come on....
its just the fluid sloshing around. really nothing to worrie about.

I wouldn't have thought the magnet would reach al the way to the bottom of the MC during hard corners. I'd definately check the fluid level just in case. And maybe check for worn insulation on the wires causing the switch to short thereby turning the light on.

Or something!

There is also something called a pressure differencial valve. If pressure between the two chambers in the master cylinder are significantly different it will trigger the light.

The fluid sloshes in the tank and trips the sensor for both the brake master and the washer fluid resivors. Same concept as the gas gauge moving on a hill .
