Wheels will +45 14x5.5 fit?

Hello, looking to upgrade my wheels for scca solo. Does anyone know if this wheel would fit, i am thinking that 45 means it will be a little farther towards the fender? or am i backwards??

THanks in advance...

ps - they are volk te37's and that is the only offset listed for a 114.3x4 bolt pattern, which is what i have on my gsl-se, which i believe is 38mmz?

Your title says 14 x 5.5. Your text body says 4 x 114.3. 4 x 114.3 WILL fit, not 5.5. +45 is a FWD offset and will set into your wheelwell. It will probly fit (unless it hits the calipers) but will look horrible.

I think that he means 5.5" (width of wheel). I don't know if it will work or not. The GSL-SE normally takes about a 38 offset as you mentioned.

A larger offset would mean that the wheel would be tucked in further. I have seen SE's with 45 offset on an 8" rim.

Hmmm, they might work, but I'm not sure. I know that if it was on a non -SE then they wouldn't work. But on an -SE, I don't know.

FYI, if your only going for looks, then these wheels will work fine for you. But as far as performance, they are a downgrade from stock. The stock rim is 14" diameter and 6" wide. The wheels you say you wanna get are 14" diameter and only 5.5" wide.

Oh ya, and you are backwards with your offset. The higher the + number, the further toward the suspension the wheel moves. For example, +45 will be closer to the suspension than a +10.

I had 16x7 with 42mm offset on my car (-se suspension, etc) and the fronts hit the sway bar in tight turns. I wouldn't think that 5.5's would hit but I do think it's likly. Also as stated above, it will not look good due to them being tucked in.

Thanks guys, but i'm still looking they have a double drilled 4x100/4x114.3 pattern 14x6 in the 38 offset. However, i stand by my original assertion that the STOCK GSL-SE wheels are 14x5.5" NOT 14x6. I will probably go with these instead. It is for light weight (like 9 lbs each or something instead of the already light factory 14's.

I ran +42 with 225mm (maybe it was 215?) tires with no issues whatsoever on my SE.
