wheels and bolt patterns

what are my options if i wanted to switch to a more universal 5 lug or 4 lug conversion. i have decided to change my mind once again and put in the 13bt, mostly because i found an install kit. so i know my current rear end wont be able to handle the power. i have a 79 rx7. i want to switch out rims and want to have more options. will second gen brakes fit easy, or what other ways can i change up the lug and bolt pattern. thanks
mike

Put in an SE rear end, or weld up a custom subframe and install a @nd gen or 3rd gen IRS...

You can:

1. Swap in the gsl-se rear end and front brakes. When you do the rear you'll want to do the entire third member. On the front, you'll need to swap the discs, calipers and struts with the spindles.

(If you go out and buy the parts in SoCal this will cost you about the same as a new set of Panasports with a 4X110mm bolt pattern.)

2. Redrill your front discs and rear rotors for a new bolt pattern.

3. Find yourself a pair of wheels you like and have them custom drilled.

4. Second gen brakes are not an easy swap and required fabrication to mount the calipers.

yea but the reason i want to switch is because my brakes arent gonna stop how i want with the power im going to have, so i dont mind that they cost as much as panasports, which are very unatrractive anyway. i think ill just go with the gsl-se thing. thanks

Panasports unattractive? I think we have a heretic in our midst.

i dont really care for panasports either.. thast why eventually im going with full gsl-se suspension mainly so i have more rim options.. but thast down the road i dont have the money right now for it
